Get referrals from friends, family & your realtor. The internet is full of different contractors and not all contractors are created equal. 

It is important to make sure you are getting a contractor that has the knowledge, expertise, and skills to get the job done right.

One of the best ways to find a great contractor is to get recommendations from people you trust. 

This could be your family and friends, or even people you know through work or social circles. 

If someone has had a good experience with a contractor, they will likely be happy to refer them to you.
